The Jarše youth home is a public institution that educates and cares for at-risk youth (children and adolescents who have been victims of violence, neglect, abuse and inappropriate parental methods which have resulted in disruptive behaviour and/or emotional problems).

The institution works for the benefit of at-risk youth between the ages of 12 and 18.

The institution strives to provide at-risk youth with the necessary conditions for successful schooling and healthy personal growth while also providing all the needed professional help for their families.
